3 Ingredient Nutella Brownies (source: Kirbies Cravings)

Nutella Brownies

Doesn’t get much simpler than 3 ingredients – and when one of the ingredients is Nutella, you know the recipe is going to be a winner!

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 cup Nutella

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350F. Grease a 9 inch x 9 inch metal baking pan. Add all ingredients into a large bowl and mix until batter is smooth. Pour into baking pan and smooth top with spatula.

  2. Bake for about 15 minutes until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Be careful not to bake too long otherwise brownies will dry out. Let brownies cool and set before cutting and serving.

Rainbow Jellies (source: Kidspot)

Rainbow Jelly

The kids will love getting involved in the colour selection of this recipe! And you don’t have to stop at just 3 colours, why not create the whole rainbow?!

Ingredients:

  • 1 packet of Aeroplane raspberry razzle jelly

  • 1 packet of Aeroplane orange orbit jelly

  • 1 packet of Aeroplane pineapple jelly

Method

  1. Prepare yellow jelly and pour into a large glass bowl. Refrigerate until set (will take about 4-6 hours). Prepare orange jelly, allow to cool and pour gently on top of yellow jelly, return to fridge until set. Prepare red jelly, allow to cool and pour on top of orange jelly, return to fridge until set.

Tiny Teddy Trains

Create adorable eatable trains out of a crowd favourite – tiny teddies!

Ingredients:

  • 100g chocolate, melted

  • 1 x 340g family size pkt Smarties

  • 12 x 25g Milky Way Bars

  • 1x 200g pkt Pascall Licorice Allsorts

  • 1x 180g Natural Confectionary Co Licorice sticks

  • 1 250g box Tiny Teddies, honey flavour

Method:

  1. Using the melted chocolate as 'glue', stick 2 Smarties on each side of the Milky Way Bar for the wheels.

  2. Glue one 1/2 square of Licorice Allsorts onto the top of the Milky Way.

  3. Cut a Tiny Teddy off at the waist and glue onto the top of the train.

  4. Cut a licorice sticks in half crossways and glue on the front of the train as the steam spout.

Cake in a Mug

Cake ready in just 5 minutes; I think that is any kid’s dream! Eat it straight from the cup with some ice-cream on top, yum!

Ingredients:

  • 4 tbsp self-raising flour

  • 2 tbsp sugar

  • 2 tbsp cocoa

  • 1 egg

  • 3 tbsp milk

  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla essence

  • 1 tbsp chocolate chips

Method:

  1. In a large mug, place all the dry ingredients and mix well with a spoon. Use the spoon to grind all of the cocoa against the side of the cup so there are no lumps.

  2. Add the egg and beat it a little on top of the dry ingredients to break the yolk.

  3. Add the oil, milk and vanilla and mix until well combined.

  4. Stir the chocolate chips in and put into the microwave on high for 3 minutes.

  5. Serve with a nice big scoop of ice-cream.
